LOCATION                  Jacob’s home and the surrounding area of Seacroft 
 

PURPOSE OF JOB    

 
Jacob is 16 years of age with a diagnosis of autism.  Jacob lives with his mum, Dad and younger brother and their dog Buster.
He enjoys making models with his lego and has completed ones such as the Liverpool football stadium.  He is obsessed with football, which can be difficult especially when his team loses.  Jacob is very competitive and does not like to lose.  He also likes kicking a football around in the park
Jacob is a very bright young man who excels at maths.  Jacob does struggle to go out and will often just stay in his bedroom, which is a concern as he will become more isolated and will also be transitioning to post 16 education within the next 18 months.  
Therefore we are seeking someone who can build up a positive and trusted relationship with Jacob and support him to access activities out of the family home.  We are hoping this will then build his confidence to become more independent.
 
 
Main Duties
 
Jacob’s personal assistant will be required to do the following tasks and may be asked to carry out other tasks of a similar nature.
