Job Purpose

To provide personal care and support to access the community for a lady with mobility issues

Location: Dereham, NR20

Details

I have a variety of health issues including Osteo-arthritis and Fibromyalgia, which limit my mobility and sometimes mean I cannot manage stairs. I live with my teenage daughter who also has some health issues and is studying at home. My P.A. will need to assist me with maintaining my personal hygiene, washing my hair and changing clothes as well as helping me to manage my medication and some domestic tasks to keep my home tidy. I would also like the PA to encourage me to access the community socially, therefore a driver would be ideal.

Summary terms and conditions

The rate of pay for this position is £14.50 per hour for employees and £18.28 for self-employed workers.
Hours and times of work: 13 hours per week, split over 4 days. Ideally between the hours of 11am- 2pm.

- Tuesday: 3 hours
- Wednesday: 3.5 hours
- Thursday: 3 hours
- Friday: 3.5 hours

You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
Free Care Skills Training provided to employed staff.
Should the job role include any of the following: food handling, manual handling or chemical handling (general household cleaning products), you will be required to undertake mandatory training.

The post is subject to the following:

A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
