Job Purpose:
We are seeking two trustworthy and friendly male Personal Assistants (PA) to support a gentleman with health and mobility needs. This role is about enabling independence and helping someone live life to the fullest while maintaining dignity and choice.

I am a sociable gentleman who enjoys gardening and football and will soon be joining a wheelchair football team. I require support with showering and dressing, prompting medication, and assistance to access the community by driving me to places such as football matches and garden centres. At home, I would like someone who can work alongside me on household tasks rather than doing everything for me, so I can remain as independent as possible.

A good sense of humour is essential, as I cope best with light-hearted conversation and positivity. If you're interested in making a genuine difference in someone's life, we'd love to hear from you.

Location: Brundall

Details:

Personal care: showering and dressing.

Summary Terms and Conditions:

Rate of pay: £12.89 per hour.
Hours and days of work: 5 hours per week, plus flexible cover
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks (calculated based on annual hours worked).
Free training for all staff via Flick Learning.
If this job requires any of the following: manual handling, handling of hazardous chemicals (e.g. household cleaning products), food handling, handling of medication. You will be required to undertake annual training.

The post is subject to the following:

A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
Completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period
