Service user also enjoys rough play, outdoor activities. Also likes partaking in baking/cooking and arts & crafts. Loves the city of York and the buildings.

service user has Autism.

Behaviour techniques- praise does work such as when he is told he’s a good boy/ well done also rewards are helpful.

Sometimes behaviour can be triggered when told no or when he is not allowed what he wants, a way to resolve this is to try divert/ delay. Service user is patient and good at waiting. Doesn’t like to be watched.

When presenting challenging behaviour allow him some space if safe to do in the setting you are in. This usually allows service user to calm down and regulate his emotions. Useful to ask what it is he wants, and service user will respond/show you.
