PA for 32 year old man with Cystic Fibrosis in Easton for 10 hours p/w at £11.30 p/h - Bristol - BS5

Personal Assistant required for 32 year old man in Easton with Cystic Fibrosis and mobility difficulties to support with domestic and admin tasks alongside getting out in the community.
Main Duties:
- Cleaning/tidying house, laundry and other household tasks.
- Support with getting things from around the house.
- Support with adjusting oxygen levels and ventilation machine – training will be arranged for this.
- Preparing meals and support with cutting up food.
- Grocery shopping.
- Medication prompting.
- Support with getting out and about e.g. going to the park
This position will be for 10 hours split between two days (Monday and Tuesday 1300-1800). This role will be paid at an hourly rate of £11.30 per hour.
The client lives with his partner and enjoys being creative with different mediums e.g. lino painting. The client also enjoys PlayStation, watching TV and listening to music.
PA Requirements:
Ø The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, reliable, mature in nature and flexible in terms of their availability.
Ø Aware of respecting professional and personal boundaries.
Ø Previous experience of working in care.
Ø The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to use them where required.
Ø References required before job commencement.
