We are looking for very reliable, caring and dedicated Personal Assistants to work a LIVE-IN rota for a 33yr old lady with complex care needs who lives with her family in her own home in LS20. This is on the boarder of Guiseley and Baildon/Shipley
The role is providing 24hr care 2:1 and covers all aspects of the clients daily living, including personal care, clinical duties and mobility. There will also be support required for physiotherapy exercises and rehabilitation activities.
ALLTHE TRAINING NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE IS PROVIDED LOCALLY TO THE CLIENTS HOME IN LS20
Essential:
· Non-Smoker
· Have a good understanding of the English language and speak clearly.
· Good hearing & listening skills
· Hold a full UK driving licence to drive the client’s adapted vehicle.
Be reliable and flexible to work all shifts as part of a team.
· Good time management, the ability to take direction from the client.
· Be down to earth and have a good sense of humour
LIVE IN shifts cover 24/7 and bank holidays. Shifts are:
Days + Sleep Nights
Days + Disturbed Nights
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check WILL be required
Rates of Pay - When fully competent
£11per hour Day shifts £12.25per hour Disturbed Night £7.20per hour Sleeping Night
£8.21 per hour - Training rate (training generally completed within 2 – 4 weeks of start date)

THIS ROLE IS INITIALLY FOR A 12MTH CONTRACT WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF THE ROLE BECOMING PERMANENT AFTER THIS PERIOD.
