am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me in my home in a long-term, stable role.
I have a spinal cord injury and I am paralysed from the chest down, so I require support with daily routines, including personal care, transfers (using a hoist), meal preparation and general day-to-day assistance. My routine is well established and I value consistency and a calm, organised approach.
Outside of care, I enjoy a relaxed and positive environment. I appreciate good communication, a sense of humour, and someone who can be easy-going while still being reliable and professional. From time to time, the role may include going out for appointments or general errands.
The position involves long weekend shifts every two weeks, so it is important that you are comfortable with extended hours and able to work independently when required.
This role would suit someone who is physically capable, responsible, and looking for a long-term position rather than short-term or occasional work. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as experience.
