I am a friendly lady living with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) and other long-term health conditions. I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me with domestic tasks, gardening, occasional meal preparation and accessing the local community.
My health can vary from day to day. On some days I enjoy a chat, crafting and getting out and about, while on others I may need more time to rest. I am looking for someone who is understanding, able to work using their own initiative, and happy to support me with the tasks I am unable to manage myself.
It would be an advantage if you enjoy arts and crafts, as this is something I enjoy on my better days. I also have two cats, so a love of animals would be welcome.

Summary terms and conditions:
- The rate of pay for this position is £14.64 per hour
- Hours and days of work: 2 hours on a Tuesday and 2 hours on a Friday 10:30 - 12:30, exact timings negotiable at interview
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role
- Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers
- If this job requires any of the following: Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemical, Food Handling. You will be required undertake annual training.
The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
