Lady near Dereham seeking female PA for 4 hours per week @ £14.64 p/h - Dereham - NR20

I am a friendly lady with many chronic illnesses, the main one being Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) I am seeking a female Personal Assistant to assist me with everyday living tasks such as personal care, domestic care, occasional meal prep and gardening. I will need the applicant to inform themselves on my conditions.

Due to the severity of my Myalgic Encephalomyelitis I am mostly bed bound, although I am able to get out of bed occasionally and into my wheelchair. I currently require the use of a hoist to get out of bed, this is something my fiancé usually helps me with but there may be occasions where I require the support of a PA to do so.

My mobility can vary from day to day and there are times when, due to fatigue, I am not able to be very chatty. On these days I will need to be left to rest, as such I require someone who can work to their own initiative and get on with housework as required.

It is very important that you understand my health conditions (which will be explained more in interview) My energy is very limited.

The role includes domestic duties - this will be mainly house work, working from lists. I would like to create a routine we can both work from. I'd like to be able to ask you to do the things i no longer can do myself.

On my better days i enjoy a good chat and crafting, as such it would be nice to have someone who and would enjoy crafting with me but also understand that i may not be able to chat at the same time and need to rest after a short while and then you complete the list.

I need it to be an environment that when im unwell, i am okay with asking you for space,  that i can trust that you will complete the lists/use your initiative and if i need any personal care, it will be done in a private, delicate manner. There may be times i need you to turn me in my bed.

I also love to have my nails done and would like someone who is able to paint mine on occasion.  I also like cats and have two of my own at home. Preferred hours are beginning and end of the week however I can flexible with times and last minute changes.
