🌟 Make a Real Difference – Join Our Support Team! 🌟
We’re looking for caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Personal Support Workers to support an amazing 11-year-old boy 💙 with a rare genetic condition, Autism, and complex medical needs. He may not use words to communicate 🧩, but with the right support (and full training provided!), you’ll learn how to understand his unique ways of expressing himself and help him feel safe, happy, and understood.
This is a 2:1 support role🤝, so you’ll always work as part of a team to provide consistent supervision and ensure his safety, as he has no awareness of danger and can display sensory-seeking behaviours. He enjoys getting out and about 🚗, often using his wheelchair to access the community, so flexibility, energy, and a willingness to get involved are key!
You’ll support with:
✨ Personal care and daily routines
✨ Safe and engaging activities 🎨
✨ Following familiar routines to give him security
✨ Monitoring his wellbeing and supporting his complex health needs (full specialist training provided)
We’re looking for someone who is:
💛 Kind, patient, and positive
🎭 Creative and able to think on their feet
🧠 Ideally experienced in Autism or complex needs (but full training is given)
🚘 A driver with access to a car (business insurance required)
🔐 Respectful of confidentiality at all times
✅ Enhanced DBS provided
✅ Specialist training after probation
✅ Competitive pay at £18.83 per hour
If you’re passionate about making a genuine difference and want to be part of a supportive, dedicated team, we’d love to hear from you! 🌈
