Senior lady in Embleton requires a home care assistant for 8hrs per week.

Hours are to be arranged flexibly with family but mainly will be needed during the day either Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday.

They are hoping for 2 x days with 4hrs each day, but there is potential for flexibility around the hours and they may be used all in one day on occasion.

Experience of working with dementia clients preferred.

Driver would be an advantage but is not essential

Hours of work: 8hrs per week
Rates of Pay: £12.00 per hour

Main Duties:

Support required with meals and drinks with potential around personal care when required.
Support with prompting medication
Support to be offered in the home but if worker is a driver there is potential to take client out to access the community.
The role will have an element of companionship.
