Gentleman in Poringland seeking PA on a flexible/cover basis up to 7 hours p/w @ £15 p/h - Norwich - NR14

Job Purpose:
I am a friendly gentleman living in Poringland who is seeking a PA to support me in the community and assist me with everyday living tasks such as accompanying me to social and leisure activities, assisting me to take my dog for a walk, administrative tasks, and personal care. 

I have a rare condition called Klippel-Feil Syndrome which causes fusion in the cervical spine and depending on the area of fusion, there can be related congenital conditions. I also have Scoliosis, Kyphosis and a rare condition called Aplastic Anaemia. 

I am a sociable man who likes to keep active. I live at home with my parents, sister and Jack Russell Terrier. I like to get out and about meeting new people and going to the cinema and theatre.

This will be a flexible working role, whereby I am seeking a PA to provide holiday and sickness cover for my existing PAs until September. Come September the role will be permanent.

Details:
Support me in the community.
Accompanying me to social and leisure activities, such as Able2B, shopping and meeting friends. This will involve driving my mobility equipped car.
Assisting me with walking my dog, as well as taking him out with us to visit friends
Supporting me at work by assisting me with tasks such as photocopying and proof reading and other administrative duties.
Assisting me during meetings by taking minutes.
Personal care.
Any other duties as required.
This role will include moving and handling a wheelchair
Setting up and dismantling a mobility scooter

Summary terms and conditions:
The rate of pay for this position is £15 per hour.
You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers.
Hours and days of work: Flexible working role, to provide holiday and sickness cover for existing PA’s.
Up to 7 hours per week flexible
 
The post is subject to the following:
A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. 
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. 
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months. 
Should this job role include any of the following duties: food handling, chemical handling (general household cleaning products) or manual handling, you may be required to undertake annual training.
