Fixed Term Care Assistant for 3 months @£14.67 per her in Ashington for Male Adult - Ashington - NE63

We are looking for preferably a female worker, someone outgoing, reliable and with a love of the outdoors to plan together with a young man in his early thirties supported trips out. With a diagnosis of Autism and anxiety this gentleman struggles with noisy, crowded environments but like walks in the woods or on the beach. Cinema is another activity he enjoys with horror and animation being particular favourites.

Visits to cafes and shopping for clothes are also something to work towards, once a rapport is established. 

This role is initially a fixed term contract for 3 months which may be extended. 

Do you have quite a jokey disposition and a love of gaming and escape rooms? This will give you something in common. 

You will need to be a car driver but there will be anticipated progression to using public transport to increase this man’s confidence in getting out and about more independently.  Please apply if you think you are that person that could make all the difference to another…..
