I am a 32yr old female with a spinal cord injury and complex care needs. I am looking for support workers who can do a 2 WEEK LIVE IN / 2 WEEK OFF shift pattern on a rolling rota basis to help me with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, catheter care, medication administration, clinical duties and mobility.  Under normal circumstances I enjoy the occasional shopping trip, cinema, theatre, weekend away and annual holiday away. Cooking/ baking, music & painting are hobbies of mine.
I am looking for like minded people who are down to earth with a good sense of humour. Time management and the ability to take my instructions is important too. I have a whisper for a voice, so listening skills and patience is a necessity.
ALL TRAINING NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE WILL BE ONLINE  AND WITH ME

Essential requirements:-
- Listening skills
- A good understanding of the English language and the ability to speak clearly
- Hold a full clean driving licence to be able to drive my mobility vehicle
- Non smoker
- Be very reliable and be able to work as part of a team
- 6-12mths care experience is desirable
AN ENHANCED DISCLOSURE & BARRING CHECK WILL BE REQUIRED

Shift Patterns will be varied over the 2 week live in period.

Rates of Pay:-
£11 per hour when competency training is completed
£12 per hour 12mths after training completed
£15 paid per awake night shift in addition to the standard hourly rate
£8.21  per hour training rate.
Sleeping night rate is a set rate paid in line with the national minimum wage

This role is initially for a 12MTH CONTRACT with the possibility of the role becoming permanent after this period. You will be employed on my behalf by the care agency who deal with my recruitment process.
