Female Personal Care Assistant temporarily required to work 15 hours per week with the possibility of a permanent role in the future. This is based in the Littlethorpe area of Peterlee and is to support a lady who is confined to her bed.
Hours/Wage:
To provide emergency cover
Wage £9.50 per hour
15 hours per week
Times can be arranged flexibly to suit employee and employer, and will be discussed directly with employer.
Duties:
Duties include personal care, assistance with dressing if required, meal preparation, help with administration, prompting with meds, weekly sorting of meds into dosset box.
Additional Information/Requirements:
Worker will be required to work in a chemical free environment, so it would be a condition of employment that they do not wear synthetic chemical products to work.
This is post is for cover only when the main worker is not available.
Household contains a small, friendly dog.
Worker needs to be able to drive and to have their own vehicle.
Worker must be willing to travel to Darlington in the short term as this lady is living in Darlington temporarily.
Travel time and extra fuel cost will be covered by the employer.
Experience not essential.
An Enhanced DBS certificate will be required to be paid for by the employer.
