A friendly lady in the Blyth area is seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Personal Assistant to support her ongoing recovery following a stroke. This is a rewarding opportunity to have a meaningful impact, helping someone maintain their independence, confidence, and quality of life.
Hours: 14 hours per week (flexible, to be agreed)
Rate of Pay: £14.67 per hour
This varied role combines practical support with companionship and encouragement.
About the Role
You will provide support with:
- Mobility and encouragement with daily physiotherapy exercises
- Accessing the local community and getting out and about
- Social activities and visits to places of interest
- Shopping trips
- Attending GP and hospital appointments
Please note, the role requires someone who is physically able to lift a wheelchair in and out of a vehicle.

- Positive, friendly, and able to bring a good sense of humour to the role
You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle and hold appropriate business insurance.
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential. We value the right attitude and personality just as highly, and full training can be provided where needed.
Additional Information
An Enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful applicant and will be funded by the employer. Any required training, including Health and Safety, will be arranged and must be attended.
