24/7 carer required, one week on followed by one week off.
168hours (112hrs @ £9.35 & 56hours @ £8.97)
I live in Chipping Sodbury with my Chihuahua cross dog, and I am looking for a non-smoking female carer to be a part of my care team, someone who is caring, friendly, patient and who can understand and deliver the needs required. You must be able to respect my privacy and always maintain a professional attitude.
You must be able to handle the physical skills of lifting, pushing, and bending. You do not have to be physically strong to do this, but it does help, as does good general health.
The position will be paid at £9.35 per hour day time, and £8.91 per hour night time. Total 168hrs. 112 hours paid at day rate; 56 hours paid at night rate. You will be paid through the PAYE scheme. PA’s will need to provide their own food, refreshments, and toiletries.
Proof of ID, two references and a full DBS check will be required, before anyone is hired
The successful applicant will need to be reliable, organised, and have a flexible approach to work.
As a Personal Care Assistant your job will be to provide personal care:
- Toileting
- Showering/shaving
- Dressing
- Administer Medication
- And Meals, inc assistance to cut foods
Includes domestic duties:
- Food shopping
- Cooking
- Cleaning
- Laundry
- Attendance to medical appointment and community access.
Ideally PA will have a full clean driving licence and own car.
Qualifications/experience in relevant skills are required, such as mobility handling. I am allergic to certain dressing, full training for this will be provided.
