Job Description:  Social care work opportunity for a Personal Assistant.
 
I am looking for a reliable female (Schedule 9, P1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies) Personal Assistant. I can offer a job share if that’s preferred. As there’s 2 parts to the role one part is to support & partaking in gym activities, classes possibly tennis (if interested) or swimming. The second part is a quick meal prep 3 times a week Mon, Wed and Thurs or Friday around 4-5.
Reliability and adaptability are core to the success of the role.

I can offer a job share for just the afternoon meal preps or meal preps and a few mornings. Please declare in covering letter if a job share is preferred. 
 
Hours required: 7.30am - 9.00am Mon-Fri
 4.00pm - 4.30pm `Mon, Wed and Thurs or Friday
                   
Location: Norwich, NR3
 
Details: 
-  Morning support 7.30-9.00am Monday-Friday.
 - Prompts for morning routine including ensuring correct medication is taken.
 - Assistance getting to the gym with the opportunity to partake in gym activities/classes
 -  Looking for a gentle, kind and sympathetic person to assist with getting into routines.
-  Assistance with preparing nutritious meals for myself and my family 
-   Prompts and encouragement to eat regularly and maintain mealtime routines.
-  Additional opportunities to assist with accompanying me to appointments (doctor, dentist, hospital etc). 
-  Support with household tasks.
 
Personal Specification: Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post. Assessment of these, both on application and at the interview, will be the main factor in determining your success.
 
Essential: 
-   Reliable, dependable and adaptable. 
 -  Time keeping and organisational skills.
 -   Enhanced DBS
 -   Full clean driving licence and own car with appropriate insurance for business use.
 
Desirable:
- Experience with dissociation and agoraphobia.
- Knowledge and experience of preparing meals.
 - Able to work flexibly when needed to attend occasional appointments.
 
Summary Terms and Conditions
- The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour
-  Hours and times of work as follows: 7.30 am -  9.00 am Monday-Friday, 4.00pm - 4.30 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday 

There may be opportunities for additional hours to attend appointments that would be paid for privately however the primary hours are a requirement of the post.
-  The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive week. 2 weeks to be taken over the summer holidays. With the option to choose whether to work bank holidays/Christmas or to have these days off. 
- Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers.
 
The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
