A young-at-heart person living in Bedlington is looking for a Personal Assistant / Carer to help with everyday life and support independence at home and in the community. Building a comfortable relationship and enjoying a laugh together are important.

Hours and pay: 17 hours per week, worked flexibly across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at £14.67 per hour.
The working pattern includes split shifts.

About the role

Help with household tasks, general housework, and meal preparation.
Support with shopping, everyday activities and social and leisure activities.
Provide companionship and support independence at home and in the community.
Support with the safe administration of medication.
Be willing to provide personal care, including help with bathing, if needed in the future.

About you

You will be friendly, dependable, and flexible, with an easy-going approach and a good sense of humour. You should be comfortable providing companionship, helping with household tasks, and shopping. Formal care experience is not essential; the right attitude and approach are more important.

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required, with the full cost met by the employer.
