Female Care Assistant required to support a young female who lives in the Willington/Crook area

We are looking for someone to provide support to a young woman who has impaired mobility following a brain injury some years ago. Due to her impaired mobility she uses a wheelchair.

Hours /Wage
10 hours per week £ 13.50 per hour

Monday to Friday one hour am and one hour pm
Monday – Wednesday 7.30 am – 8.30 am and 6pm – 7pm
Thursday and Friday 9.30 – 10.30 am and 5pm – 6pm
There is some flexibility around times, apart from am calls Monday – Wednesday as these times are required to provide support getting ready in time to go to college.

Duties
Provide support to get out of bed, and get dressed in morning
Provide breakfast
Transfer into wheelchair
Showering, getting ready for bed

Additional Requirements/Information
Experience would be preferred but is not essential
A full driving licence would be preferred – a mobility car (automatic) would be used to take client out
Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost
