Female Personal Assistant required to support a teenage girl in the Bishop Auckland area
17 hours per week
Rate of Pay £10.50 per hour
Hours required:
Sunday – 3pm – 7pm To take Child swimming
Monday 4.30pm – 7.30pm Personal Care and Social Support
Thursday – 4.15pm – 8.15pm Personal Care and support to be provided at Grandparents home
Friday 7.30am – 9.00am Personal Care and Support at Grandparents home
4.30pm-7.30pm Personal Care and Support at Grandparents home
Jobs to be undertaken:
· Change bed
· Wash bedding
· Make meals
· Take her out in her wheelchair
· All personal care
· Physio stretches during school holidays
· Any tasks related to Child’s care
Pen Picture:
The cared for Child is a 13-year-old girl who lives at home with her family.
Successful applicant must have experience working in care.
The cared for Child has learning disabilities, epilepsy and global developmental delay. The Child also has a genetic condition and has poor muscle tone and is unsteady on her feet.
The Child is a wheelchair user and can communicate some of her needs verbally however she does need support with this.
The Child has a great personality and loves to be around people and interact.
A DBS will be required prior to employment which will be paid for by the employer
