I am looking for a friendly, reliable and caring Personal Assistant/Carer to provide support with everyday family life. The role would suit someone who enjoys working with families and is comfortable helping with a range of household and care-related tasks.
I am a mother with several health conditions that can affect my mobility, energy, and hearing, so having someone dependable and understanding is very important.
I enjoy reading books and have an interest in art, so someone who shares these interests would be lovely, although this is not essential.

Job Description
 
Preparing meals and helping with batch cooking.
Helping to keep the home clean, tidy and safe.
Washing up and other general household tasks.
Providing personal care when required.
Supporting with the children and helping with their day-to-day needs.
Providing practical support when my health conditions affect my ability to manage everyday tasks.
Any other reasonable duties as requested.

Essential:
Family-friendly and comfortable around children.
Reliable and well organised.
Someone with patience, compassion, and a positive attitude
The person I employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy.
 
 
 Desirable:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.
 

   
   Summary of terms and conditions
The pay rate for this position is £12.89 per hour for employed PAs and £15.55 per hour for self-employed PAs.
Hours and times of work: 18 hours per week. Time discussed further at interview.
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
