Enthusiastic Female (PA) required to support a lady in own home environment LS19 - LEEDS - LS19
Job Reference (b5c88336)
My name is Sarah back in 1993 I was in a serious road traffic accident which left me with physical disabilities, but totally sound of mind, meaning that I can understand everything that you say to me and can communicate back with you! It’s been a challenging journey but an eventful one !
Before my accident I lived life to the full enjoying a great social life, about to take the plunge in to being an air hostess, I was only 22! I lived with my Mum and sister and enjoyed a great network of friends. Luckily my mum still lives with me.
Im turning 51 this year still living life to the full I own my own home and have 24 hour round the clock care because I need help with all physical activities, this includes preparing meals, eating, walking, personal hygiene, physio, doing the laundry, household duties, taking me to appointments, taking me out for coffee, taking me on holidays etc, the majority of my day is spent in my wheelchair or comfy chair however I am pretty mobile with assistance. Oh and one of my guilty pleasures is watching Emmerdale!
I’m currently looking to replace one of my PAs she’s leaving after a fabulous 13 years. You would be working as part of a team of 4 full time carers, working on a rotational 4 shifts on 4 shifts off basis. This includes 2 full days followed by 2 nights.
If you enjoy a challenge, have a great sense of humour and would like to be a part of my journey please apply.
