Job Purpose
To provide general support for a lady with complex needs to remain independent in her home. This position requires no personal care.

Job Details
I am looking for somebody who is non-judgemental and who would 'take me as you find me' please.
I enjoy my garden and watching birds outside. Due to limited energy I do not manage to go out very often.
I am on a high protein diet, so would like assistance with preparing appropriate nutritional meals. Due to having a low immune system I must avoid infections, therefore hygiene is most important.
Domestic tasks – you will undertake some, not all of these, during your shift:
Meal preparation to stock up freezer with main meals/lunches etc.
Vacuuming/dusting of house, hygiene clean of kitchen and bathroom areas, mopping of floors, changing of bed linen and some assistance with hanging out washing, occasional ironing needed.
Help me with a some computer tasks, i.e. emails and online shopping, by typing and using a mouse for me.
Help with paperwork: e.g. filling in forms, telephone calls for advocacy support etc.

• Reliable, caring, and flexible PA required with a willingness to carry out a range of tasks with a commitment to work long-term.
• Able to work on own initiative and under instruction.
• Ability to remember detailed instructions is vital.
• Calm.
• Able to provide holiday and sickness cover for other PA’s as required.
• Basic computer literacy an advantage.
 
 
Summary terms and conditions
·       The rate of pay for this position is £14.77 per hour
·      Hours of work: a total of 9 hours per week to be worked on a flexible basis, 3 X 3hrs on days to be agreed depending on activities which can be discussed at interview.
·      5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays
·      Free training as appropriate for role
 
The post is subject to the following:
·      A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
·      Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
