I am looking to hire a carer for my friend who has dementia (Lewey Bodies). I need someone to spend time with him and encourage him in activities. He likes walking - with his dog -and some gardening. Jigsaw puzzles and simple Soduko or other puzzles. He used to enjoy snooker but has not played for a coupler of years (pandemic aside). He is somewhat lucid, continent but has an aversion to washing. He has carers morning and evening to take care of his nutrition and medication, In his day he was at the forefront of mainframe computers, but now has difficulty changing TV channels. He would appreciate technical help to view some of his large DVD collection.
I am looking for mental stimulation which is why I - or he, I am just an LPA - will pay top whack for limited hours.
