What’s wrong with me!!!
I have a C5/6 spinal cord injury (broken neck): complete paralysis below the shoulders and partial paralysis of both arms, no hand or finger dexterity and wheelchair bound.
Regardless of paralysis, I am an active person who enjoys life with a smattering of humour and strive for independence in all that I do. I have three lovely Personal Assistants providing one-to-one support while promoting independence. I need someone new to join my small, friendly team… could it be YOU?
What’s involved???
I need assistance with all aspects of daily life, including personal care and domestic tasks. as well as activities such as; daily keep fit, gardening, setting up art materials/woodworking projects, and going out in my car shopping & attending appointments.
Training
During an induction/shadow shift, you will be guided through tasks listed in the job description tailored to my care needs.
Times Required
Typically, shift starts around 10<>11am finishing 2<>4pm (exact times and days negotiable).
Where possible, covering holiday leave, absence.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to learn the role of Personal Assistant to a high standard.
