Day PA for 34 year old Bristol man £16.00-£18.00 per hour - Bristol - BS16
Job Reference (eb16ddb3)
Hi, I'm Mitch!
One of my main PA's is leaving to go travelling at the end of December, so I'm looking for a couple of super PA's for a 12-hour or upto a 36-hour per week contract (week off / on), to join my friendly team and support me to live my life in the best way possible!
I am a 34-year-old man, who lives in the Cheswick Village, Stoke Gifford area of Bristol in South Gloucestershire, close to The University of the West of England (UWE) Frenchay Campus and Stoke Park. I live with my children (a boy, aged 8 and a girl, aged 11) and our friendly old Black Labrador Bella and I work as a Community Researcher at The University of Sheffield. I also have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and use an electric wheelchair.
I love getting out and about locally and further afield, going on trips away, listening to all types of music, going to gigs, concerts or the theatre, the odd music / food festival or a football match when I can, watching films / series and going to the cinema, being creative, spending as much time as I can in nature, whilst keeping in touch with / seeing my family and friends and I am a bit of a foodie, who enjoys cooking!
I require 24 / 7 one-to-one support with all of my day-to-day personal care and support needs from my lovely team of trained PA’s. I am looking for someone who is positive, caring and compassionate, somebody who is punctual, understands their role fully, gives autonomy and takes a person-centred, trauma-informed approach to support me to live my life in the best way I can.
