Join Our Team as a Personal Assistant– Make a Real Difference!
We are looking for a compassionate and energetic individual to join our team and provide personal care and support in a family home for a visually impaired young adult who uses a wheelchair and has complex health needs, including severe neuro-disability, hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy, and spastic quadriplegia.
This is a rewarding role that will see you assisting with a range of tasks, from personal care and repositioning to operating respiratory equipment and ensuring the safety and well-being of the client. You will work closely with the client and their family, providing both physical and emotional support in a home environment. Complex care experience is desirable however full training will be provided, including manual handling and hoist transfers.
🚘A car driver is strongly preferred due to the location of the role, and above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate, reliable, and ready to make a real difference in the life of a young person and their family.

⏰The hours: 8 -16 Hours per week (Friday and Sundays)
Rate of Pay: £13.89 per hour

All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.
Who we are looking for:
You must be self motivated, well organised, chatty, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with:
- Previous complex care experience
- Previous experience with respiratory equipment and observations is desirable, but not essential.
You should also have:
- ✅Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- ✅Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness
