Caring PA required to support happy boy in LS11 (Tues,Thurs & Fri 16.30-18.30) - Leeds - LS11

Job Reference (aea2655f)

This support is 2:1 as he likes going out but it an be difficult with challenging behaviour such as sitting down if he doesn’t want to go anywhere or being vocal. Any new person to my sons support will work with a trusted TA from the school who will support you and give you a full induction.

You will support my son to attend activities within the local area. You should be encouraging and positive with a hope that he has fun. Activities should be explained to my son so he knows what will happen during the session.

It also helps to show my son things to make it easier for him to communicate with you and understand you. A calm approach is needed and my son likes to play, jump and run, most of the time he is a happy boy.

My son has no sense of danger and needs someone patient, kind and understanding to support him. Some personal care prompts and support required as my son will often guide me to the bathroom when he needs to use it however he is fairly independent.

Activities could include:

Swimming
Trampolining
Going to the park

Any other activities that the PA feels might be appropriate
