Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: LS21

Job Description:
To carry out tasks to enable and support the employer to live a fulfilling life according to their wishes and interests.

The Employer:
I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which can severely limit energy levels. At present I am housebound and unable to manage the stairs.

I have varied interests,  which include reading, walking, travel, bird watching, gardening, cookery, eating out, though at present  many of these activities are severely curtailed due to energy levels.

I have two cats, who live with me.

Personal care:
At present I need help with hair washing, and although I can manage my own personal care needs, in regards to washing at the sink,  but I  am unable to bathe or shower at present.

Social / main duties:
At present I need a Personal Assistant to provide meals, and for social interaction. These duties Envisage will change as my energy levels improve, and I am able to participate in activities outside the home, with support.

Domestic duties:
Preparation and provision of nutritious meals ( vegan )
Laundry
Indoor plant care

Person Specification:
Hones, reliable, good communication skills
Like cats

Hours of work:
25.75 hours per week (19.25h Mon-Fri & 6.5h Sat-Sun) this post is open to Job share.

Rate of Pay:
£12.60 Mon-Fri & £15.69 Sat-Sun

Essential requirements:
Driving licence
Car and appropriate insurance
