Support and care assistance is required for two young individuals with complex care needs who are living in a purpose built bungalow, working with current care staff, in Winterbourne, BS36 - north east of Bristol city-centre.

Duties

The two individuals lead very active and busy lives
Their house diary has been put together so that it is fun and rewarding - it is teeming with social and educational engagements from theatre trips, education and therapy sessions, sports activities, trips to the pub and music events, as well as in-house activities
They are looking to expand their staff team to ensure that all their complex care needs are meet, as well as taking all the opportunities available to them to lead a busy life and to continue to develop skills

Training

Training is provided and you will be supported by visiting professionals in learning about the support required.
DBS and training provided

Pay

Hourly rate weekdays £11.15
Hourly rate weekends £13.18
Hourly sleep-in rate £8.91

Hours

We have a range of shifts available
The general working pattern is long days
There are requirements for either waking nights or sleep-in nights
Flexibility and other options will be considered with the right candidates

Must haves

A driving licence is required - both lads have a car to enable them to get about
Assistive technology is in regular use so being comfortable with (at least open to learning about) using IT would be a bonus
