The job:
Personal Assistants’ roles come in all shapes and sizes and we are looking for PA’s to work with a young lady aged 18 in the Burnley area who has complex health issues, including tracheostomy care - full training will be provided. You will provide a high standard of personal care, and undertake light domestic tasks.
Varied hours over the day and evenings. Approximately 100 hours on a 2 week rolling rota, over a 4 week period. You must be a team player and willing to pick up additional hours and be flexible to cover holidays and times of sickness.
Must be punctual, willing to learn, caring, able to work as part of a team, and reliable.
Rate of pay is £11 per hour. You will work as part of a team, within the home and out and about in the local community. NB: This list is not exhaustive.
The right person:
It is not essential that you have experience in care and support but you must have common sense, be flexible, professional in your approach, enthusiastic and willing to learn! You must also be a calm person, and be able to keep your cool under pressure. You will receive full training in all aspects of duties, regular competency assessments and ongoing support and supervision.
Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This post is subject to DBS checks the cost of which will be met by your employer.
