We are looking for care assistants with some experience to work within a loving family home in the Liverpool 13 area.

To provide 2-1 wrap around care for an amazing and special young lady who has a neurological condition called Rett Syndrome. It is essential that you are flexible in your attitude and response to rota requests. Due to the nature of the role we request female only applicants who are fit and healthy. It is imperative that you have an engaging personality in this role and have the ability to connect and build trusting relationships with both the young lady and her family.

Experience / Good Knowledge of the following would be an advantage:

Oxygen dependency, epilepsy management, providing fun and innovative activities / entertainment, ability to adapt your communication skills, first aid certificate, sleep apnea awareness, administration of oral medications, providing all aspects of personal care, healthy skin management. However, you will be provided with full bespoke clinical training and offered initial support from staff and family.

Hospital / medical experience would be an advantage

You must be willing to go the extra mile for this role and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You do NOT have to drive for this position. We will provide an enhanced DBS check at employers cost and 2  references and are looking for applicants to start as soon as clearance checks are complete. These are 34 hours each post at £10.50 ph, , permanent role with a 9 month probation period.
