Care Assistant required in LS21, £12.60 & 13.5 hours per week. - Otley - LS21

Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: LS21

Job Description:
To carry out tasks to enable and support the employer to live a fulfilling life according to their wishes and interests.

The Employer:
I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which can severely  limit my energy levels. At present I am housebound and unable to manage stairs.

I have varied interests which include :- reading, walking, travel, bird watching, gardening, cookery, cinema, though at present many of these activities are severely curtailed. 

I have two cats.

Personal care:
Assistance with hair washing

Social / main duties:
At present I require a Personal Assistant to provide meals, and for social interaction. These requirements I envisage will likely change as my energy levels improve, and I am able to participate in activities outside the home.

Domestic duties:
Preparation of daily meals

Laundry

Plant care, and watering, of both indoor and outdoor plants, as required

Feeding cats

Person Specification:
Honest, reliable and flexible, good communication skills.

Likes cats

Hours of work:
The post is for 13 1/2 hours Mon - Friday, the post is open to job share.

Rate of Pay:
£12.60 Mon-Fri 

Essential requirements:
Driving licence
Car and appropriate insurance
