• To provide an enabling service for 5 hours per week, to be used flexibly in agreement with the Employer during the week and some weekends. To support with being out and about in the local community.  
• This child enjoys watching the traffic (with total supervision), enjoys sensory rooms, soft play, loves books so a library visit may be good, loves water but has not explored swimming yet. Loves many of the children’s characters on CBeebies.  
• Support with age-appropriate community and leisure activities. 
• Support with understanding body language and gestures as this child is non-verbal. Initially you will spend time with the parents to get to know the child and build a rapport and relationship.  
• To provide personal care and will need full support with changing.  When in the community will need to access a disabled toilet. 
• Ensure that you take reasonable care of your own safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work. 
• Using your own car will be required during this employment; You MUST be insured for business use and produce this document as evidence.  

• Have a positive understanding towards Children with disabilities. 
• Have a high degree of initiative. 
• Be punctual and reliable as this Child cannot be left unsupervised. 
• Be flexible.  
• Have a happy positive caring nature.
