About the role:
A young lady is looking for multiple female personal assistants, to support her to live an independent life on a day-to-day basis, as well as enjoy social time out in the community.

Key responsibilities:
As a personal assistant you will be required to provide support in a range of areas including but not limited to:
- Personal care and dressing (mostly verbal prompts and guidance)
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Grocery shopping
- Community access including going shopping for clothes/hobbies and on days out
- Engaging in sports activities such as swimming or the gym
- Domestic support to keep her home clean and tidy
- Attending appointments e.g. hairdressers, opticians

About you:
The client is looking for multiple PAs to provide support across 7 days per week.

She is looking for a PA who has similar interests to her such as Pokémon, Deadpool, dinosaurs, "gory things", Dungeons and Dragons, shopping, rock/metal/punk music, cooking/baking.

As well as this, someone who is active and will enjoy the physical activities with her such as swimming, ice skating, boxing and going for walks, is very important.

The client loves learning new things, and is hopeful to find someone with this same desire so they can enjoy learning together.

It is important that you are patient and understanding, as she can get overwhelmed in places that are too noisy or crowded, so you will need to be understanding of this and support her in these environments.

This young lady would love someone who can support her professionally but build a friendship with too, to enjoy time out together.

If you are able to provide the support in the home with personal care or meal preparation, and not the community trips, or the other way round, please make this clear in your application.

Essential requirements:
- Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle during support
- Experience with Autism

Shift Pattern:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday: 9.30am-10am – personal care and dressing
- 7 days per week: 5pm-6pm – preparation and cooking of meal (employed PAs only due to no flexibility on timing)
- Wednesday and Saturday: 8 hours total (flexible timing) – food shopping and community access
- The client is looking for multiple PAs to fulfil these hours, so she welcomes applications from PAs who are only able to provide some of the support as well as those that are totally flexible.
