Hours: 10 hours per week (flexible)

Job Summary

We’re looking for a caring and encouraging Personal Assistant to support a young man in Stockton‑on‑Tees. He’s sociable, easy‑going and enjoys gaming, bowling, days out, the beach, arcades and eating out.
This role is ideal for someone patient, supportive and confident in helping others build independence.

Responsibilities

· Provide companionship in the home and community

Support with social activities and days out
Offer gentle encouragement with daily tasks such as cooking and meal preparation
Provide calm redirection when he becomes highly focused on certain interests
Promote confidence, independence and positive routines

Requirements

· Experience in care essential

Outgoing, friendly and approachable
Patient, encouraging and supportive attitude
Able to promote independence in day‑to‑day tasks
Reliable and person‑centred
Driver preferred but not essential
Enhanced DBS is required
