Care Assistant required to support a young 10 year old boy with Autism living in the Stanley area

12 hours per month term time – preferably on a weekend

12 hours per week school holidays – days and times to be negotiated

£12.00 per hour

A PA is required to support a young man with autism access social activities such as swimming, playgrounds, bowling and also enjoys riding on a bus. Some personal care supervision may be required.

While experience or awareness of Autism would be preferred it isn’t essential as training can be provided but it would be important for the young man that he feels comfortable with the PA. The PA should be trustworthy, flexible and reliable.

Access to a car would be preferred but not essential.

A DBS will be essential but this will be paid for by the employer
