Male or Female Personal Care Assistant for a teenage boy with autism in Bowburn, Durham

This 17 year old boy is autistic, physically very fit and enjoys walks and bus rides in particular. He has very limited communication and lack of awareness of others but tries to be very good, he cannot be relied upon to be road safe and needs help with dressing etc.  

The family would be looking to arrange mutually beneficial hours, with flexibility including some weekend work, with the ability to meet their son from school on occasions at 3.30pm an advantage. 

8hrs per week with possibly extra on occasions @ £9.50 per hour. 

It would be good if the PA on occasions could take him to Disability Sport at Stanley, and a learning disabilities youth club he goes to in Durham, other activities could be walks or bus rides. 
Expenses of PA would be met

Being physically fit is a necessity

Experience preferred but not essential – training can be given 

Car driver not essential 

A DBS would be required
