Elderly gentleman with dementia in Wark requires a care assistant to support with 6hrs per week.

Hours to be arranged flexibly with family but hoping for 2 x 3hr slots each week.

No evenings or weekends

Hours of work: 6hrs per week

Rates of Pay: £10.82 per hour

Location: Wark area

Main Duties:

To provide supervision and support to client to allow family members to go out for respite from caring role.

Client is diabetic and support may be required around insulin but training will be provided.

Support may be required around meals and drinks depending on the times of calls agreed.

Further Information: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).

Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
