Location: Stillington, Stockton-on-Tees
Hours: 6 hours per week (Saturday availability essential)
Additional Hours: May be available by mutual agreement

A friendly and reliable Female Personal Assistant is required to support a lady who lives independently in her own home in Stillington, Stockton-on-Tees.

This role would suit someone who is approachable, enjoys good conversation, has a positive attitude, and is happy to provide both practical assistance and companionship. A love of cats is essential, as there are cats in the home.

Knowledge or understanding of mental health would be beneficial, although full training and guidance can be provided.

Duties will include:

Accompanying the client on weekly food shopping trips
Supporting with outings and activities, including visits to museums, galleries, libraries, garden centres, and meals out
Preparing simple meals and hot and cold drinks
Assisting with general household duties
Carrying out light household cleaning, particularly when providing holiday cover
Providing companionship, practical support, and engaging conversation

Essential Requirements:

Female applicant
Full UK driving licence
Access to your own vehicle
Enhanced DBS check
Reliable, trustworthy, patient, and friendly nature
Good communication skills
Able to provide support while respecting the client's independence

Additional Information:

Mileage will be paid at 45p per mile for journeys undertaken with the client.
Extra hours may be available by mutual agreement.
