Personal Assistant Required

A Personal Assistant is required to support a lady living in Stockton-on-Tees to maintain her independence, wellbeing, and daily routines at home and within the community.

The successful candidate will provide practical and motivational support, helping the client manage everyday tasks and develop confidence in maintaining a healthy and organised lifestyle.

Duties will include:
·       Providing light household support, including tasks such as changing bedding and other domestic duties.
·       Assisting with simple meal preparation and light cooking where appropriate.
·       Helping to organise appointments and providing reminders and encouragement to attend them.
·       Supporting the client to manage a food shopping budget, including accompanying her to supermarkets or assisting with online shopping.
·       Providing reminders to take daily medication and helping to establish routines, alarms, or prompts for prescription collection.
·       Offering gentle encouragement and support with personal care and maintaining daily routines during periods when motivation may be low.
·       Monitoring the client's wellbeing and providing reassurance when she is feeling unwell.
·       Supporting and motivating the client to achieve personal goals and maintain independence.

Preferred Working Days
Support is ideally required on Thursdays and Fridays, although some flexibility may be available.
