Care Assistant for a gentleman P/T@ £11.44/hr in Billingham - Billingham - TS23

We are looking for a Care Assistant for an 84 year old gentleman, who has dementia and diabetes, to support him in the local community. The gentleman loves going for short walks around his local area and has some knowledge of the surrounding streets. He enjoys a cup of tea and cake on a walk. He is a friendly, quiet man. He is happy to listen to someone else talk.

 

Days/Times:
7.5 hours a week - 1.5 hours a day for 5 days of the week.

Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues/Thurs 3pm-4:30pm 

Although days/times can be flexible for the right candidate.

 

Knowledge of dementia would be beneficial 

Familiar with the local area (Billingham)

 

The ability to drive to a coffee shop when the weather is bad would be an advantage but is not essential.
