Care Assistant for a F/T@ £15.00/hr in Southport - FTE - £29.3k - Southport - PR9

Hi my name is Noah and I’m looking for a new carer to join my team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hard-working and have a willingness to learn. A medical/care background is preferred but not essential as full training will be given, passion, commitment and thoughtfulness is just as important. You'll be supporting myself at my home in Southport, shifts are 12 hours 8 till 8 and we're looking for 36-48 hours a week with the option of some cover for sick/holidays.
I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and live at home with my mother and siblings.
The right candidate needs to be attentive, flexible, calm, patient and understanding.
Duties include:
Tracheostomy and vent management.
PEG Management, administering medication via PEG.
All aspects of personal care and social needs.
I require all my care needs meeting but also support with independence. This includes supporting me to facilitate my hobbies which include days out and overnight stays.
Shifts are 2:1 and we will provide shadow shifts and full training upon starting.
Rotas are done on a monthly rolling basis.
£15.00/hr during 3 months probation, rising to £16.00/hr upon completion of probation.
Driving licence is essential.
