Care Assistant for a 17 year old male @ £13.79 ph in Eggborough (Dn14 0) - Goole - DN14

I am based in Eggborough and am looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to support my 17-year-old son in building confidence and independence around his interests and goals.
 
My son has diagnoses of Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), and PTSD. He is funny, kind and loves gaming.
 
The role involves being supportive - focused on rebuilding my son’s confidence and helping him engage more fully with the world around him. Initially, support will take place within our family home, allowing you to build a positive and trusting relationship with my son, his siblings, and our family cat.
 
As confidence grows, the role will develop to include supporting my son to access the community, explore his interests such as D&D and paintballing, and help him build a strong routine life style of activities outside the home. Most importantly, this role is about having fun, encouraging independence, and providing calm, consistent support.
 
This role is primarily required on either a Saturday or Sunday. With a during the week evening to attend the gym. The days will then become permanent to form a strong routine.
