Personal Assistant (PA) – Norton Area
Ad‑hoc hours + holiday cover • Supporting a friendly gentleman at home and in the community
Are you someone who enjoys making a positive difference in someone’s daily life? We’re looking for a warm, caring and chatty Personal Assistant to support a gentleman in Norton to maintain his independence and enjoy the things he loves.
About the gentleman
He enjoys a range of hobbies and interests, including:
- Watching sports—especially Middlesbrough football matches
- Playing dominos and doing jigsaws
- Listening to music (particularly classical)
- Spending time in the garden and going out for coffee
He uses a mixture of communication apps and written materials to assist with communication and appreciates someone who is patient, friendly, and able to communicate clearly.
About the role
This position is offered on an ad‑hoc basis, with additional hours available to provide holiday cover when needed.
You’ll provide support with:
- Personal care – including assistance with going to the toilet and getting dressed
- Mobility and accessibility around the home
- Daily routines, promoting independence wherever possible
- Light physio exercises and helping with comfortable positioning
- Social activities, both at home and out in the community
