Direct Payment Personal Assistant Required
I am looking to recruit a direct payment personal assistant for my 8-year-old son.
Hours wanted:
4 hours per week

More about the young person:
This individual is a lovely boy with an inquisitive personality. He has a lot of energy and an infectious giggle.
He has a diagnosis of autism and presents with a developmental delay across all areas. He also has social and communication difficulties.
Because of his language difficulties, he needs someone who can understand children with limited verbal communication. While he can communicate verbally, he may not always say what he means so relies on trusted adults to interpret his meaning.
Experience needed:
A needs someone who has experience working with children with disabilities, particularly with children with limited verbal communication.
There is no specific training required.
We live in Clevedon and someone who is able to travel would be ideal.
Hourly rate:
£16.47 for self-employed PA's
£12.55 for employed PA's (this rate is lower to take into consideration tax and insurance)
