Personal Assistant Required – Supporting a 9-Year-Old Boy
Rate of Pay: £14.67 per hour
⏰ Hours: 4 hours per week (term time – Saturdays) and 8 hours per week (school holidays – flexible days)

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support a 9-year-old boy with autism and significant developmental, sensory and communication needs. He is non-verbal and requires support to access social and leisure activities in the community.

This role involves helping him take part in enjoyable, meaningful activities and ensuring he is safe and supported while out and about

He benefits from a calm, patient approach from someone who can understand and respond to his individual needs.

Supporting access to social and leisure activities 🎯
Providing supervision in the community 👀
Encouraging engagement in line with his communication needs

✅ Skills and experience required:

Experience or understanding of autism and additional needs
Patient, calm, and adaptable approach
Ability to build a positive working relationship

ℹ️ Additional information:

No personal care or medication support required
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle 🚗 (essential)

📅 Working pattern:

Saturdays during term time
Flexible days during school holidays
