I am an 18-year-old young man living in Hexham and I am looking for an enabler to help me get and about and be independent from my parents. I spend time at both my mum, and my dad's house and the support will be every other weekend, preferably on a Sunday (5-10 hours).

I love:

Singing
F1 – especially Max and Lewis
Going on the bus and train
Being in quieter, calmer environments
Being funny, telling jokes and having lots of fun
Being outside, whatever the weather
Going swimming

I am a sociable, chatty young man and would like my enabler to:

Be a male as I need help with toileting
Help me access activities
Be able to drive me places but this is not essential
Be happy to take me on public transport
Be up for having fun and making great memories
Help me take medication when I am poorly
Help me to stay safe when out and about
Help me to get drinks and snacks when I am hungry
Keep my routines as these are very important

A full enhanced disclosure and barring certificate will be required to work with the adult workforce, and full cost will be met by the employer. Where applicable training will be provided via an online learning platform, on the job and in person where required.
