We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a lady who has Functional Neurological Disorder and requires support workers to assist with some aspects of daily life, to enable her to live independently and to live as she wants.

You should be a friendly people person, like to chat, have a positive calming nature and be able to be flexible with your daily tasks.

You will be providing support in a busy family household where children will be present so you will need to undertake a DBS is you are successful.

This lady uses a manual wheelchair so you should have good general health to support with lifting and carrying in and out of cars etc when needed.

This role is to support with general daily tasks, meal preparation and support to access the local community for medical appointments and to enjoy social and leisure facilities. Each day can be different depending on needs for that day so you should be prepared for some variations each day. We are looking for two support workers to cover 2 x 5 hours shifts per week.

It is hoped that you will be able to provide cover when other support workers are off on leave and this will be organized in advance.

Hours Breakdown: 5 hours per week. Hours can be flexible.
